About Alan
Hello and Welcome.
My name is Alan Leaderbrand. I was raised in Affton, MO.
I graduated from Affton High School and attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
I have been married to my lovely life, Lynn for over 43 years. We have two grown children and a new granddaughter. I was a Scoutmaster for 4 years, a Scout Committee Chairman for 16 years and an Eagle Board of Review member for 10 years. I am a strong, conservative Republican and Patriot who is:
• Fiscally responsible and looking for lower taxes
• Pro-Gun (NRA Member)
• Pro-Life
• Pro-Freedom
• Pro-Small Government
We have loved living in our home in the Fenton area of Jefferson County since 2015. We also lived in the area from 1985 to 1989. The people of Jefferson County are friendly and welcoming. I believe Jefferson County is the best place to raise a family.
I am planning to retire at the end of this year after supporting the AT&T account for over 35 years as a mainframe systems programmer. Representing the people of District 2 on the County Council requires a FULL-time commitment. Some will say it is a part-time job, but to do the job right takes a FULL-time commitment.
I have been involved in Jefferson County in many ways:
• 2018-20 2nd VP of the Jefferson County Republican Club
• 2019 Jefferson County Republican of the Year
• 2021-22 President of the Jefferson County Republican Club f
• Member of the Jefferson County 2018 Bicentennial Committee
• 2020 Chairman of the County Council Redistricting Commission
• 2021 Elected Director to the Saline Valley Fire District Board
